In addition to our adoptable animal programs we were very lucky in late 2006 to open a sanctuary program for our cats. The sanctuary is located in Alachua, Florida in the countryside. It is 1200 sq feet and fully air conditioned, heated, has running water, etc. There are windows lining the building with bird feeders and bird houses which provide endless entertainment for all who live there. The property has many birds, small wildlife and deer that pay frequent visits. In addition to many toys and cat furniture the kitties also have human beds to snuggle in.

The sanctuary is currently home to 12 wonderful cats that were not adoptable for one reason or another. Some were too nervous around new people to go to adoption events, some were placed in the sanctuary because of ongoing medical conditions and a few came to the sanctuary after years of trying to find a family.

The cats in our sanctuary program continue to receive all medical care needed, are fed a premium quality food and have all of the toys they could ever dream of. Any donations made for their care are greatly appreciated. All kitties are also available for sponsorships.
